1. Purpose and Overview
Gen Alpha Mentorship Academy ("GAMA," "we," "us," or "our") sells online courses and mentorship for parents and their children ages 10 to 17. Our courses are hosted on Thinkific. Our email and lead forms run on MailerLite and Tally. Personalized video responses are delivered through Tella.
This document covers three things: what data we collect and how we use it, the terms for using our site and courses, and your rights and responsibilities as a parent.
By purchasing or enrolling in any GAMA product, you confirm you are the parent or legal guardian of the student, and you agree to these terms on your behalf and on behalf of your child.

2. Who Holds the Account
Parents are our customers. All purchases, accounts, and email subscriptions are held by parents or legal guardians. We do not sell directly to children, and children do not create their own accounts with us. This is important for the children's privacy section below.
3. Information We Collect
From parents:
- Name, email, and payment information (handled by Thinkific Payments and Stripe)
- Answers you provide on intake forms (such as the free Built to Learn Foundation Check) about your child's strengths, challenges, and goals
- Email engagement (opens and clicks) tracked by MailerLite
- Course progress on Thinkific
From the student, indirectly through the parent:
- The student's first name, used to personalize the experience and the Legendary Learner Workbook
- Course progress inside the parent's account
- For Coached and Mentorship Track tiers only: workbook submissions and questions the student chooses to share, plus video and voice memo correspondence with Coach Sean
We do not ask children for contact information, photos, school details, or any information beyond what is needed to deliver the course.
4. How We Use Your Information
To deliver the course you purchased, respond to your Foundation Check, send course updates and educational emails, provide feedback in the Coached and Mentorship tiers, and improve the program over time.
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with the service partners required to run the business (Thinkific, Stripe, MailerLite, Tally, Tella, and Google Workspace), and only as much as those services need to operate.
We sometimes use AI tools (currently Anthropic's Claude) to help me review intake responses, draft personalized feedback, and organize program content. When we do, we remove or mask identifying details before sharing them with the tool. The AI tool does not retain your data for training, and we never use AI to make automated decisions about your child.
5. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
GAMA is sold to parents, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. The parent or legal guardian holds the account, fills out all forms, makes the purchase, and supervises the child's use of the course.
If a child under 13 ever interacts with GAMA in a way that involves submitting personal information (for example, in higher-tier programs that include direct communication with Coach Sean), we require written parental consent on file before any such interaction begins.
If you are a parent and you believe your child has submitted personal information to us without your consent, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
6. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/UK GDPR)
If you are located in the EU or UK, we process your data based on: contract necessity (to deliver the course you purchased), consent (for marketing emails and your child's participation), and legitimate interest (to improve the program and maintain security).
7. Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. You can request a copy of your data. Email [email protected] to make any of these requests.
8. Data Security and Retention
We store data through Thinkific, MailerLite, Tally, Tella, and Stripe, all of which use encryption and standard security practices. We keep information as long as your account is active or as required by law. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
Terms of Use and Course Terms
9. Eligibility
This site and these services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. Accounts must be created and managed by a parent or legal guardian. Students may use the course materials under their parent's account and supervision.
10. Purchases and Payments
Payments are processed through Thinkific Payments and Stripe. All prices are in US dollars. You agree to provide accurate billing information and authorize us to charge the payment method you provide.
11. Refund Policy
Built to Learn: Foundations carries a 14-day money-back guarantee. If the course is not the right fit, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we will issue a full refund. No refunds are issued after 14 days.
For the Coached and Mentorship Track tiers, the 14-day window starts on the date of purchase. Once personalized feedback or live sessions have begun, refunds may be prorated based on what has been delivered.
Future memberships, such as the Trailblazer Journey, may be cancelled at any time. Refunds for memberships are available within 14 days of the initial purchase.
12. Parent Responsibility and Consent
By enrolling, you confirm that:
- You are the parent or legal guardian of the student
- You consent to your child participating in GAMA's online program
- You are responsible for supervising your child's use of the course
- For tiers that include direct communication with Coach Sean (Coached and Mentorship), you consent to that communication and understand it may include written feedback, recorded video, or voice memos
13. Course Access and Intellectual Property
All course materials, frameworks, and content are owned by Gen Alpha Mentorship Academy LLC. Your purchase gives you and your child lifetime access for personal educational use within your household. You may not redistribute, resell, record, copy, or share course materials with anyone outside your immediate family.
14. Technology and Availability
We aim for reliable service but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to Thinkific or any other third-party platform. We may update, change, or improve course content and the platform at any time.
15. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia and the United States.
16. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through binding individual arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. Each party covers its own fees unless the arbitrator rules otherwise.
17. Marketing and Email Communications
By signing up for the Foundation Check, the Magic Penny Masterclass, the Archetype Quiz, the Parent Training, or any GAMA email list, you consent to receive emails from GAMA. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email or by emailing [email protected].
18. Updates to This Policy
We may update this document as our services or the law change. Updates will be posted on the site with a new effective date.
